A North Belt Highway shoe store was robbed Thursday evening.
Bedat & Co Replica WatchesCapt. Janice Rothganger of the St. Joseph Police Department said about 6:30 p.m., a white man displayed a handgun at Payless ShoeSource, 5201 N. Belt. The man received some cash from the business, then fled on foot.
The person was described as Loafers Flats Clothing a male in his 30s, wearing a light green hoodie and having a gold tooth.

Police encourage anyone with information to call the Tips Hotline at 238-TIPS. Any information leading to an arrest is eligible for a cash reward.
